Human Rights Day

Article 25 of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights states that “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services…” Human rights and international financial integrity are intimately linked.  Each of the five priorities advocated by the Task Force focuses on transparency and accountability in an effort to address the inequalities in the global financial system that penalize billions of people.

For Human Rights Day 2011 we are asking you to help us show that the Task Force and its Allied Organizations are all defenders of human rights.  We would like for you to participate in an online album by sending us a photo of your organization along with a statement (1-3 sentences) explaining how your organization’s work helps promote human rights.

Please submit photos and statements to Task Force Outreach Coordinator Sarah Bracht at sbracht@financialtaskforce.org by December 5, 2011.
