    Hi Ann:

Congratulations on an excellent piece of work. I thoroughly enjoyed clicking through the Prezis in three parts. The salient facts are presented in digestible bite-sized portions that are easier for the layman to understand.

It would be helpful for readers if the facts and figures had a source which could be referenced via a link. Please refer to the GFI studies on which the Prezis are based. I would also strongly urge our communications team to widely disseminate these Prezis on a world-wide basis in the interest of better public awareness and understanding of the nature and extent of the problem with illicit flows.

You may also think about a Prezi IV that places these figures in relation to government social expenditures on immunization, primary education, etc. In order to provide a better idea of the adverse impact of illicit flows on economic development in poor developing countries, you could also relate illicit outflows to GDP, government revenues, taxes collected, etc.and explore how rankings change with regard to different indicators.

Thanks, Dev! It was a fun project.

A good point, but unfortunately technological limitations of Prezi prevent me from embedding links into the presentations or I would have referenced the GFI papers that way.

I agree with you on a Part IV–the magnitude of these numbers are better understood in context. I’ll have to collect my thoughts for a follow-up to this project. So many options!
