Swiss Bankers Bolster Washington Lobbying

The Swiss banking industry, facing a raft of proposals from Congress and the IRS for new requirements aimed at catching U.S. tax evaders, is beefing up its Washington lobbying ranks.

The Swiss Bankers Association hired Candida P. Wolff, who had been the top lobbyist for President George W. Bush and now is a partner at D.C. law firm Hogan and Hartson to advocate for it.
